Our Values

What guides everything we do as breeders.

💙

Health First

Every breeding decision starts with health. Our parent dogs are health-screened, and all puppies receive proper veterinary care, vaccinations, and deworming before going to their new homes.

🏡

Home-Raised

Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment, not in a kennel. They are exposed to everyday sights, sounds, and gentle handling from an early age for proper socialization.

🤝

Lifetime Support

Our relationship with puppy families does not end at adoption. We provide ongoing guidance on grooming, nutrition, training, and health care for the lifetime of your Coton.

About the Coton de Tulear Breed

A rare and delightful companion dog with a rich history.

The Royal Dog of Madagascar

The Coton de Tulear (pronounced "co-TAWN day two-lee-ARE") originated in the island nation of Madagascar, where it was the beloved companion of the Malagasy nobility. The breed's name comes from the French word "coton" (cotton), describing its signature soft, fluffy coat, and "Tulear" (now Toliara), the port city where it was first found.

Recognized by the AKC in 2014, the Coton de Tulear is classified in the Non-Sporting Group. They are known for their clownish personality, willingness to please, and remarkably adaptive nature. Cotons typically live 15 to 19 years, making them one of the longest-lived dog breeds.

Their cotton-like white coat is hypoallergenic and produces minimal shedding. While it requires regular grooming, many owners find the daily brushing routine to be a wonderful bonding experience with their Coton.
